The InVesalius 3.0 roadmap

One of the primary goals of this beta is to focus attention on the remaining features to be implemented for InVesalius 3.0, and on the bugs that need to be resolved before the final release.

We are planning at least 4 beta releases before releasing the official version of InVesalius, which is currently targeted for the September 2010.

Keep an eye on InVesalius 3.0 progress:

What you can do to help

In order to provide a high-quality 3.0 release, we need your help. Although this beta release is, again, not intended for production use, you can help the InVesalius team by trying out the beta installers and reporting any bugs or issues you encounter.

Please, open new tickets if no existing ticket corresponds to a problem you're running into:

Additionally, discussion of InVesalius development, including progress toward the 3.0 release, takes place on the users and developers discussion forums:

Contributors on any level -- developing code, writing documentation, translating InVesalius to other languages (with  Transifex), designing icons and logo, or simply triaging tickets and helping to test proposed bugfixes - are always welcome and appreciated.

Manual by user

Fabio Francisco da Silva wrote a user guide based on InVesalius 3 alpha 2. This manual is available inside InVesalius (About > Getting Started), and you can also download it from this link (currently available only in Brazilian Portuguese).
